NMC Horizon report – impact on physical learning spaces

Learning Space ForecastThe annual NMC Horizon Report identifies and describes “emerging technologies likely to have an impact on learning, teaching, and creative inquiry in education”.  This is one of the most keenly anticipated documents of each year with several versions (including one focusing specifically on Australian Tertiary Education) released.

While the report is focused on technologies and the likely timeframe for their adoption,  several of these trends will likely have an impact on our physical learning spaces – in particular things like flipped classrooms and makerspaces.    Jo Dane from Woods Bagot explores what these impacts might be in the “Learning Space Forecast – Spatial Impact of the 2015 Horizon Report“.
